Knitted Cupcake!
I love this adorable knit cupcake pattern! Though I would probably just fill in the inside with stuffing so it could be a cute child's toy instead of pin cushion!

How It All Started: A Recap
I started this blog back in 2007 as an online idea book for myself as I was planning my good friend Laura's baby shower. I used it to bookmark ideas for favors, themes, decor and more! And looking back I've realized I never really recapped how the whole thing went! (It was fabulous of course!)
Obviously it is now 2009 and the baby whose shower I threw is almost two and I am getting excited about helping plan another shower for a another friend! (yay for babies!!). I never really could stop blogging about baby stuff even after the shower was over - so I've kept at this little blog - but don't ever want to forget how it started. :)
Some history to fill you in!

I had such a great time putting together this baby shower - made me want to quit my day job and start my own event planning business (almost). I love how, with an event, I can incorporate my design skills all the way down to the nitty gritty details - from the signs to the decor to the food - it was a designer's dream come true!
Here's the wee babe now! Such a ham! :)
