Owly Inspiration
My grandmother and my husband's grandma have officially infected me with the owl-bug. Now I can't stop falling in love with owls in the nursery! Just check out the subtle hint of owl-love in this charming girl's nursery featured on Oh Dee Doh! Sigh! Also loving sparkly light behind the bookshelf!
Anyone know where to find the cute owl mobile and owl prints?

Pink Orchid Diaper Cake
Diaper cakes are a great touch for baby showers - especially if you make them look chic and modern like these pink orchid diaper cakes. Not only are they are easy enough to make on your own - you are limitless on how to decorate them. For these, I would head to Joann or Hobby Lobby and buy a few fake orchids in the color your choice - then pop off the blooms and hot glue in place. Gorgeous!
If you're not craft-inclined you can purchase this cake at MyRetroBaby.com.
Scary Fish Receiving Blanket

Sewing Inspiration: Hanging Hearts Mobile
Found this Hanging Hearts Mobile on sale at Pottery Barn Kids - isn't is adorable? Definitely inspiration for a sewing project! And would be a cute accent for a nursery! Just need a little ribbon, a hoop of some sort, stuffing and matching fabric!
I need to get sewing again - it's been awhile. In fact, I was telling my husband that I was starting a garage sale pile of stuff from around the house and he asked if my sewing machine was in it! I hope he was just joking because I am so happy to finally have one - just have been in a funk with what to make next.
