Birds & Bunting: Baby Shower Invites for a Girl!

Inspired by a cottan candy pink and blue themed baby shower invitation I saw *here* on etsy but wanting to make it my own (being the designer I am) by incorporating my love for Heather Bailey's Nicey Jane line of fabrics onto the bunting instead of the patterns on there - I redesigned and customized this series of baby shower invitations and other printables for my own baby girl's baby shower coming up here in August!

Also, found matching envelopes in cotton candy pink and pastel blue from Less Ordinary Designs on etsy.

I will be printing (custom designed by me) matching baby book cards, diaper raffles cards, thank you notes, game cards, cupcake toppers, food and drink labels, 24x36 yard two-sided yard sign as well! Must have everything coordinate! :)

Pink Orchid Diaper Cake

Diaper cakes are a great touch for baby showers - especially if you make them look chic and modern like these pink orchid diaper cakes. Not only are they are easy enough to make on your own - you are limitless on how to decorate them. For these, I would head to Joann or Hobby Lobby and buy a few fake orchids in the color your choice - then pop off the blooms and hot glue in place. Gorgeous!

If you're not craft-inclined you can purchase this cake at MyRetroBaby.com.

Been browsing the interwebs for cribs and nursery furniture. Can't say that I am completely committed to anything just yet, but look what I found on JCPenny.com.

Not only do I like the crib but the elephant bedding is fabulously modern and adorable! And there's a pink version! Though I really do love that green and brown combination.
